Morning Exercise 

At the beggining of the lesson we start our period with morning exercise.

Online Activity

Short online activity before I start my lesson. So that the students have a background on what our lesson for today will be.

Activity

Hands-on activity: 
each group has an addition equation and base-ten blocks print. So, the students should present the equation using base-ten blocks.
And adding the tens and one's number and getting the sum.

Worksheet

simple worksheet that about  addition. 
Each students has one worksheet, It should be a homework for the students who didn't finish it. But almost all the students complete it in the class and I check it for them.

Exit Ticket

I printed the exit ticket for all the students that are in the class, to see if they understand the lesson.

Reinforcement:

Positive & Negative reinforcement. 
Giving the students who
participate a star, and who will talk or walk I remove the star if he/she has.

Lesson Reflection

I selected a lesson that is about addition, the title of the lesson was representing addition with 2-digit numbers. The lesson outcomes where students should be able to use base-ten blocks to add 2-digit numbers, use base-ten blocks to add and identify the sum, and they should be able to group the tens and the ones together. It was for grade 2/E. The lesson took place in the classroom at the school. I tried to teach the children first how to identify the tens and the ones then add the tens together and add the ones, then when they got the sum of the tens and ones, they should add it together to get the sum. Some of the students were very excellent, they understand and learned how the distinguish between tens and ones and add them together to get the sum, where some of them need help.

The hands-on activity helped students more to understand the lesson.

Moreover, all students have a different way of thinking and learning. I tried my best to be a helper teacher, also to help them to understand the lesson. When I gave them a worksheet, they all answered it correctly, I was happy because students solved the worksheet correctly and understood my explanation. I was active with all students in the class, I like to help them to do the correct work.

However, it was my third time teaching in a teaching practicum, when I tough the students, I felt that I will be a good teacher in the future. Before the lesson I was ready and I was worried that the students would not pay attention to the lesson and they would not understand my presentation, but when the time came to do it, at the first of the lesson they were excellent, they were attentive to the lesson. After the lesson, I felt very relieved and glad that I did this job. I heard my school mentor’s point of view and she said I was excellent. I achieved a few of my teaching goals.

In the future, I may improve this lesson more by doing more exercise, hands-on activities, watching some videos, answering different worksheets, and encourage students to describe the pictures of the lesson.
